The Foghorn by Editor, Bernie Scott

Honor the Earth was the subject matter at the April 13 Rotary Club meeting sponsored by Purdue North Central. The luncheon, held at the LSF Building on the PNC Campus, was a joint meeting with the LaPorte club. Only a handful of members were at the special meeting, however, those who attended were able so see some amazing artwork from the USA, Poland, China, Philippines and Lithuania.

An award ceremony was given in honor of the winners able to attend.

This editor will be absent from the April 20 meeting, so whoever writes the Foghorn needs to publish the name of a proposed transfer. He is the gentleman replacing Deb Koller at Edward Jones.

Pat Boy found her name printed backwards under the unsolicited tacky picture placed in the last issue. I didn’t receive any message from Ebay (also spelled backwards in the tacky picture,) so they don’t get a hotdog from Top Dog.

Our condolences to Cindy Schoof, who recently lost one of her parents. Congratulations to Tom Keene, on the birth of twin granddaughters this week.

Until next time, “May the force be with you, Luke.”

Bernie

Spot you name backwards in this issue and win a free lunch at Top Dog. See Bernie or Dennis before the Sarge Program at Thursday's meeting.
