Receives the Kissinger
Award

This photograph was taken in 1995 at the District
654 Annual Meeting in Fort Wayne. At that meeting, Bob Raisor was
awarded the District 654 Kissinger Award,
the only Michigan City Rotarian to ever receive the award.
Fellow Michigan City Rotarians, Tom Ringo and Paul Alinsky, using
their own private planes, flew a number of Michigan City Rotarians
to Fort Wayne for the event. Also, present on the stage, were 2
of our 3 daughters, Beth Janes and Susan Benton. Ed Merrion was president
of the Michigan City Club in 1995. |
