Scholarship
Rotary Club Scholarship Targets Student “Service Above Self” The Rotary Club of Michigan City is offering two scholarship awards this year to students eligible (in the geographical area) to attend Michigan City High School. The scholarships are funded by the Foundation of the Rotary Club of Michigan City in honor of J.M. Ruby, Robert Schwartz, and A.K. Smith, and are given to high school seniors who exemplify Rotary’s motto “Service Above Self” in their lives and who are continuing their post-secondary education. The first scholarship provides $2,000 for each of two years (a total of $4,000). The second scholarship provides a one-time award of $2,000. Applications are available from guidance counselors of the Duneland Lutheran High School, LaLumiere School, Marquette Catholic High School, Michigan City High School; and from the Michigan City Library.
