As we stand on the threshold of a new year, it is with great anticipation and enthusiasm that I extend warmest wishes to each and every one of you. The turning of the calendar not only marks the passage of time but also symbolizes new beginnings, fresh opportunities, and the promise of positive change.
In the spirit of Rotary's guiding principles—Service Above Self—we look back on the accomplishments of the past year with gratitude and look forward to the challenges and triumphs that lie ahead. Our collective efforts will continue to make a meaningful impact on our community, and we are proud of the positive change we have been able to initiate through our various projects and initiatives.
As we embrace the new year, let us renew our commitment to service, fellowship, and the ideals that define Rotary. There will be multiple opportunities for each Rotary member to engage in service in the coming months. Our community projects will include our review of applications and awarding of Rotary Scholarships, our Apple Dumpling reading program, and the initiation of our monthly “pop-up” service projects. In addition, we will be expanding the opportunities to perform club service by being a meeting coordinator, meeting greeter, host to our Students of Excellence, or being Ticket Taker at the meeting door.
May the coming year bring joy, prosperity, and good health to you and your loved ones. Let us be inspired by the Rotary motto—Service Above Self—as we work together to build a better world for all.
