Boys & Girls Clubs of La Porte County

Michelle Shirk is a longtime La Porte County resident with a passion for creating safe, welcoming community spaces. In March of 2020, Michelle assumed her current role as Chief Executive Officer of Boys & Girls Clubs of La Porte County (BGCLPC), which provides local kids with free afterschool and summer programming. Since that time, BGCLPC has grown from 3 Clubs in Michigan City to 8 Clubs around La Porte County. Michelle will provide an update on the organization's programming, expansion efforts and progress towards its goal of serving 1,500 children per year.
